Dog Name: Jade
Number: 699
Age: 6 Years (DoB 12/2012 est.) Sex: Female
Coat: Black and White
Eyes: Blue (missing left eye)
Intake: 12/18/2018

Jade is a super sweet, very special Husky girl. As her pictures show, she only has one beautiful blue eye and is missing her other eye. When she was a puppy she was attacked by another dog and unfortunately lost her left eye in the process. She has grown quite used to it and does not even consider herself handicapped.

She was surrendered to a shelter by her owners as they were moving out of state and for reasons unknown to us did not take her with them. She is affectionate, loyal and deserves better.

Jade is well behaved and gets along well with other dogs. Apparently, she has been taught not to get up on furniture. She will walk up to it, especially if you are sitting on the sofa, and stare at you hoping to hear it is ok to get up.

She knows a few commands like sit and shake, possibly more once she gets someone to try others. She will also go in circles if you wave your hand around in the air. Jade is a quiet girl and doesn't talk very much. Jade loves to play with toys, particularly chasing balls.

She is housebroken and will let you know when she needs to go out. If you are not outside with her (of course this is in a secure fenced in yard) she will paw at the door to let you know when she wants to come back inside. She loves being outside and will lay down to relax, walk around, or play with her foster brothers.

Jade is healthy, Heartworm negative, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and microchipped. Adopting this girl will bring joy and contentment to you and your family, fill out an adoption application at the upper left corner of this page, today.
