ADOPTION PENDING 4/5/2021

Dog Name: Nicky
Number: 469
Age: 10 Years (DoB 10/2010) Sex: Female
Coat: Black and White
Eyes: Blue

Intake: 1/20/2021

Nicky, renamed Nikita by her original adopters, is a gorgeous Black and White Husky girl with compelling ice blue eyes. She is a former SHRF adoptee who came back into rescue through no fault of her own.

Her family's dynamic changed and unfortunately it was decided that she had to be re-homed. Nikita is just over 10 years old but is very much full of life! She loves to play and go on long walks.

Nikita walks well on the leash and enjoys car rides. She came from a home with one other large dog and a small dog, so we know that she gets along with all sized dogs, both female and male. Her family had a cat at one time and Nikita was fine with the cat, but unfortunately the affection was not reciprocated.

Nikita is good around very small children, but her previous adopter said that sometimes she can be a little "klutzy". When she gets excited she spins in a circle and doesn't realize what is in her vicinity, so a toddler may get knocked over. Nikita does not like loud sounds such as fireworks but of course, few dogs tolerate very loud sounds. She doesn't like crates, but doesn't need to be in one.

Nikita is healthy, Heartworm negative, housebroken, spayed and microchipped. She is about as perfect a girl as can be and is deserving of a new loving, forever home. Will you open your heart to this lovable girl? Fill out an adoption application at the upper left corner of this page, today.
