Balto is a previous SHRF Husky who, unfortunately, has made his way back to us. The family situation and environment has changed and Balto did not adjust well to the situation. It broke their hearts to let him go but his previous owners want what is best for him.
Based his energy level you would never guess that Balto is 10 years old; he is still quite active. He is very affectionate and eager to please, although he is a head strong Husky. Like most senior dogs, Balto prefers consistency through a routine.
He gets along well with other dogs. loves his walks and does well on lead as long as there is not a squirrel or stray cat in sight. He is quite happy to go for car rides and will rotate from watching out the window to laying down to trying to get as close to you as possible. Like most dogs, he enjoys receiving belly rubs.
