Dog Name: Malakai II

ale
Coat: Black and White
Eyes: Bi-eyes (one Brown, one Blue)

Meet Malakai or just Kai for short. He is 4 years old and quite handsome with black and white markings and one baby blue eye and one brown eye.

He's very active, loves the ladies and communing with his humans. He relishes walks, running, car rides, playing with toys, playing fetch with a ball, and is not known to be a digger when left in the yard.

He likes being in a crate and probably sees it as his own space. As with any new adoptee, it is a good idea to have a crate available for your new fur baby so that he or she has a space for themselves and until it is determined how well they do when left alone.

Kai appears to get along with all age groups of people. He does need to be under supervision at all times when outside, even in a fenced yard because Kai is very athletic and can jump fences; though that happened just one time with his foster, he didn't run away but forewarned is forearmed.

He knows basic commands such as “sit”, “stay”, “down”, “paw” and “no”.

Kai would do best in a home with other female dogs or as the sole male dog in the house. It is not known how he reacts around cats since we are unaware of any interaction with cats or other small animals. We always caution potential owners about trying to adopt a Husky in a home with cats because Huskies have a naturally high prey drive.

Kai is healthy, Heartworm negative, housetrained, up to date on his shots and neutered. This is a sweet, lovable boy with loads of potential who deserves a forever home. Fill out an adoption application at the upper left corner of this page, today.
