Turbo deserves all the TLC he can get. After spending much of his early life chained in a yard with his brother, Turbo is of the opinion that he deserves more in life, and this sweet boy is right about that. Thankfully animal services intervened and SHRF took them in.
He will start with a little nudge to get some petting and before you know it he is crawling into your lap. That's not to say Turbo is not an active boy. He loves to run and play with any dog he meets. He enjoys walks and being outside, although sometimes he is content to just sit by his humans for more petting.
With little experience as a house dog, Turbo has done quite well. He has not been crated at night and seems to do fine. He has had some episodes of marking as well as stealing dirty laundry to add unsolicited ventilation, but with three other Huskies in the house his foster parents aren't sure who the instigator is.
Turbo is quick to learn and eager to please so it won't take him long to fit into a loving, forever home. Because he has always been with his brother, we think he will do best in a home with another dog.
He is energetic and excitable so probably not appropriate for very young children; he could knock over a toddler just by way of wagging his tail and shaking his rear end. Turbo is not cat friendly and has the typical high prey drive that most Huskies have. On top of all his Husky charms, he is quite a looker. Turbo and his brother turn heads all over the neighborhood with their long coats and bushy tails.
Turbo is healthy, Heartworm negative, neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. Adopting this wonderful boy is a mutually inclusive situation; by you giving him love and affection he brings joy to your entire family.
