Chief is a handsome, happy-go-lucky Husky adult; looking for something to do, He got loose from his owners and broke into his neighbor's chicken coop and went on a spree. This resulted in a trip to the shelter where he was surrendered by his owners. This is normal Husky prey drive, so we can't really fault him for his actions. He is also not cat friendly.
This boy is very friendly with other dogs and will offer a play bow to entice other dogs to play with him. While on the small side for a male, he still could use some additional weight as he looks a bit skinny (maybe that’s why he went looking for a chicken dinner).
Chief is also sweet and affectionate with all the humans that he meets. He travels well in the car and just stays quietly looking out the window. As long as there are no chickens, cats, squirrels or other small animals around, Chief would make the ideal addition to any family.
Chief is healthy, Heartworm negative, housebroken, neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines. He deserves a second chance at a loving, forever home and should not be punished for being a normal Husky. Fill out an adoption application at the upper left corner of this page, today.
