Dog Name: Hatch
Number: 656
Age: 3 - 5 Years (DoB 1/2013 est.) Sex: Male
Coat: Black and White
Eyes: Bi-eyed (one blue, one brown)
Intake: 5/1/2017

Hatch is a handsome young adult Husky who was picked up as a stray by animal services prior to finding his way to SHRF. He is a very laid back and well behaved Husky boy who appears to have come from a good home where he was well cared for so we are very puzzled why no one came to claim him.

Hatch gets along well with other dogs, his size as well as smaller dogs. He has very little interest in toys and quite content laying about the house and just getting attention from his humans. Hatch listens well and comes when called.

He appears to be quite a picky eater, likely to have been spoiled with people food in his previous life. He has been adjusting to a more appropriate diet.

Hatch travels well in the car, walks well on lead, and is also housebroken. Hatch was quite vocal in the morning at the shelter when it was time to be let out and will still showcase his vocal capabilities when he wants something.

He has low energy for a Husky but that just matches his easy going personality. He would do well in a home with or without other dogs and may be the ideal Husky for an older generation of adopters who struggle with keeping up with the normal Husky energy level.

Hatch is healthy, Heartworm negative, neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. This boy has many years of loyal companionship and affection left in him; fill out an adoption application at the upper left corner of this page, today.
